TO THE FOSTER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: We the undersigned are in total opposition to the LOCATION of the proposed MEGA-dairy  to be constructed approximately 3 miles east and 1.5 miles south of State Highway 200 on 70th Avenue NE.    The AS-1155 report dated October 1998, by North Dakota State University confirms that the prevailing winds come from the northwest and the southeast.  Based on this report, we will be in the direct path of the smell from this MEGA-dairy.  We are NOT opposed to any normal family dairy, only a MEGA-dairy at this location. We feel the location of this MEGA-dairy in proximity to Carrington would serve as a nuisance to our community due to the offensive smell, and it could possibly serve as a potential source of water pollution, as similar operations have done in other communities.  (See documentation at www.StinkFreeCarrington.com.)
